Ms. Linda W. Evans, 74, of Flowery Branch, Georgia passed away at her home on Monday November 15th 2021.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Monday, November 22, 2021 at Memorial Park South Funeral Home.
Ms. Evans was born on November 19, 1946 in Reading, Pennsylvania to the late James and Virginia Williamson.
Our Mom, Linda Evans was a person who loved deeply. She loved her family with every bit of her being. She gave freely and completely to make sure we all knew we were loved. Each child and grandchild knew they had something special with Grandma Linda, Nana and Mom. She spoke her mind and allowed us all to be part of her life. Outside of family she was a charitable soul giving to such charities as Wounded Warriors, Paralyzed Veterans of America, and the ASPCA. She enjoyed time with her family and time at the park. She loved her country artists Blake Shelton, Garth Brooks, Reba McEntire and Kelsea Ballerini. She taught at Buford City schools for 27 years. She took great joy in teaching and enjoyed being a small part of all her students’ lives. She always saw the hidden potential in all she taught and wanted them to succeed in everything they did. She will be missed dearly as she has changed so many people's lives.
She is survived by her sons, Matthew Evans & his wife Sarah and Norman Evans & his wife Penny; her siblings, Lisa Burton, Susan Dixon and Craig Williamson; her grandchildren, Kai Michael, Abigail Grace, Kaden Lamar, Callie Lee, Willow Elizabeth and Breyli-Bell Faith.
In lieu of flowers you can make donations to Wounded Warriors, Paralyzed Veterans of America or ASPCA.
