Geraldine Buffington

Mrs. Geraldine Buffington age 80 of Flowery Branch, Ga passed away on Wednesday November 17, 2021 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following an extended illness.

          Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday November 20, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Reverend Darryl Womack will officiate. The family will receive friends on Friday November 19, 2021 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

          Geraldine was born on February 22, 1941 in Jefferson, Ga to the late Homer Evans and Clara Bell Childers Evans. She was a homemaker and was a member of Montgomery Memorial Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, E.A. Buffington, daughter, Sharon Ballard, brother. T.C. Evans, Charles Evans, Leroy Evans, Hubert Evans, sisters, Aline Evans and Bertie Mae Evans.

          Mrs. Buffington is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn and Roger Cothran of Gainesville, daughter, Barbara B. Teague of Gainesville, daughter, Lisa Renee Buffington of Flowery Branch, grandchildren, Michelle Ballard, Kevin Ballard, Shauna Jarrard, Amber Pressley, Cailitin Peck, great-grandchildren, Sara Porterfield, Makayla Porterfield, Brayden Pressely, Lexi Jarrard, Braely Jarrard and a host of other family members and friends.
