Dorothy Lee Thornton Cook, age 88, of Buford, GA passed away on Monday, November 15, 2021.  She is survived by her children, Layman (Diane) Sherman, Jr., Dorothy Jean (James) Jackson, Haston William Cook, Sheila (Gordon) Campbell, Redmon Randy (Mia) Jackson, Lola Ruth Jackson David (Aelicia) Cook; grandchildren, Lalura, Twanna, Shannon, Obrien, Cindy Jackson, Angela Cook, Jerome (Angela) Henderson, Domiyuie,, Shaeca, Tina, Rhonda, Malik (Shania) Campbell, Jaz-ment Jackson, Jeff Jackson, Shanaisha Sterling, Keshua, Tyjia Sherman, Travis Jackson, Keiasha Jackson, Daisja Cook; numerous great-grandchildren.  Ms. Cook was born on January 27, 1933 in Buford, GA.  A Funeral Service will be held at

2:30 p.m. on Saturday, November 20, 2021 in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Pastor Gwen Bennett officiating.  Interment will be held at Hillcrest Cemetery in Buford, GA.  The Family will Receive Friends from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, November 19, 2021 at the funeral Home.
