David Alan Powell

David Alan Powell, age 74, of Cleveland, passed away on Tuesday, November 16, 2021.

Mr. Powell was born on May 28, 1947, in Decatur, Georgia, to the late Leon B. and Lois Silsby Powell.  He was a practicing attorney for 40 years in Decatur, Georgia and Gainesville, Georgia.  In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by his brother, Charles “Sonny” Powell.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara Powell; son and daughter-in-law, Sam Powell and Maji Babatsias; granddaughters, Maia Powell and Vanna Powell; nephew, Nicky Powell.

No public services will be held.
