Mrs. Ruth Evelyn Adams Watson, age 80 of Ethel Circle, Toccoa passed away Monday, November 15, 2021 at her residence.
A daughter of the late Amos Adams and Ruby Holcomb Adams, she was born April 28, 1941 in Stephens County, Georgia where she lived all her life. She was employed with Stephens County Hospital as a medical assistant for 25 years and was of the Pentecostal faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Watson in 2021, by a daughter, Karen Melissa Brown, by a brother and by a grandson, Cody Brown.
Survivors include her daughter, Sherri Watson of Toccoa; grandchildren, Hope Brown, Holly and Esson Swinton and Misty Rudeseal; great-grandchildren, A.J., Timothy and Cheyenne Rudeseal, Cyrah, Canaan, Curstin and Daija Brown and Jonah and Davon Swinton; brother, Jable Adams of Toccoa; sister, Nancy Hunt of Toccoa; a number of nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be Thursday, November 18, 2021, 2 O’clock p.m. at Stephens Memorial Gardens with The Reverend Travis Pitts, Mrs. Tanya Pitts and Mr. Trevor Burton officiating. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, A.J. Rudeseal, Timothy Rudeseal, Adam Rudeseal, Jonah Swinton, Davon Swinton, Canaan Brown, Esson Swinton and Brandon Holland.

Interment will be in the Stephens Memorial Gardens with the Acree-Davis Funeral Home and Crematory in charge of the arrangements for Mrs. Ruth Evelyn Adams Watson.
