Grant London, age 85, of Cleveland, passed away on Sunday, November 14, 2021.
Mr. London was born on December 18, 1935, in Habersham County, to the late John Graves and Flary Etta Cantrell London. He was the owner of a pallet company and a veteran of the United States Marine Corp. Grant was also a member of Blue Creek Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Clarence (Marva) London, Albert (Virginia, Ruby) London, Richard (Mary) London, Benny (Ruby Lee) London, Virginia London Sutton Hogan (Hoyt), Arthur London, Phillip London, Edgar (Jeanette, Norda, Karen) London, Fern (O’Neal) London Ward, and Irene London.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Lunsford London, Cleveland; daughter and son-in-law, Charlotte and Tommy Wade, Cleveland; son and daughter-in-law, Steven Grant and Michele London, Cleveland; grandson and wife, Steven Ryan and Fonda London, Cleveland; grandson and wife, William Michael and Madison London, Dahlonega; granddaughter, Kristie Wade Parham, Cartersville; great-granddaughter, Emma Grace London, Cleveland; great-grandson, Walker Ryan London, Cleveland; great-grandson, King Parham, Cartersville; great-granddaughters, Lordess and Destiny Parham, Cartersville; sister, Lavern London Allen Berrong, Cleveland; 34 nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, November 17, 2021, at The Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Darren Palmer and the Rev. Ronald Garmon will officiate. Interment will follow at Gateway Memory Park.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 8:00 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home.
