Richard Velazquez

Mr. Richard Velazquez, 27, of Gainesville passed away Saturday, November 13, 2021.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 16, 2021 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Monday, November 15, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.

Born on December 8, 1993 in Gainesville, he was the son of Ramiro Velazquez and Olivia Horton Velazquez. He was employed with Vertical Earth and a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.

Mr. Velazquez is preceded in death by his grandmother, Mildred Horton and sister, Alicia Torres.

Mr. Velazquez is survived by his son, Gabriel Velazquez of Ball Ground; mother, Olivia Velazquez of Gainesville; father, Ramiro Velazquez of Jalisco Mexico; grandfather, James Horton; sister, Ana Velazquez and a number of other loving relatives.
