Carol (Kay) Kitterman, of Flowery Branch, GA joined her beloved husband and began her New, Everlasting life in her Real home on November 10, 2021. II Corinthians 5:8 – “Absent from the body… Present with the Lord”. She was born in Knoxville, TN on January 10, 1948. She grew up in Indianapolis, IN but returned to her southern roots with her family in 1972. Kay had a long and illustrious career with AT&T. She was blessed to have lived a full and adventurous life, crossing off all but one item on her “Bucket List”. She was a devoted member of CrossView Church in Hoschton, GA. Kay was preceded in death by her husband (Jerry) of 46 years. She leaves behind (all eagerly anticipating the day they will be re-united) her two sons, Bill Kitterman and Larry Kitterman. Her grandchildren – Zachery T. Kitterman, Christopher W. Kitterman (Vanessa), Kaytlynn N. Gossett (Danny), Cody A. Kitterman (Krisztina), Tyleigh L. Lype (Matt), Cory J. Kitterman and her great grandchildren – Parker, Bennett, Elizabeth, Harper, Sylas, Aniyah, and Sealeigh. Her brother Bill Chambers (Karen) of Cincinnati, Ohio. Her niece Dawn R. Goggin (Chris) as well as several nephews, nieces, and wonderful, cherished friends. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, November 14, 2021 at 4:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with the Rev. Danny Ashworth officiating. Interment will be in Broadlawn Memorial Gardens, Buford. GA. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. on November 14 at the funeral home.
