Katherine "Kitty" Green

Katherine “Kitty” Green, age 79, of Flowery Branch, GA passed away on Tuesday, November 9, 2021. She was preceded in death by father, Lyle Tallman; mother and step-father, Vivian and George Parker; great granddaughters, Abigail Martin, and Piper and Kinslee Crenshaw.  Mrs. Green is survived by her husband of sixty-three years, Wilbur “Gene” Green of Flowery Branch; daughters and sons-in-law, Peggy and Tom Martin of Wauconda, IL, and Sandra and Dan Skinner of Flowery Branch; grandchildren, Amanda Martin of Chicago, IL, Eric Martin (Tammy) of Spring Grove, IL, Erin Crenshaw (Chad) of Buford, GA, Christian Skinner (Ashley) of Flowery Branch; great grandchildren, Davis, Harrison, and Sawyer Crenshaw, Aiden Skinner, Glenn and Zach Claus, Dean and Hunter Martin; sisters, Billie Grabowski of Flowery Branch, Karen Eaton-Knudson (Ken) of Tooele, UT, Louise Weckbacher (George) Lindenhurst, IL; brother, David Parker (Loretta) of Lodi, WI; and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Green was born on March 8, 1942 in Waukegan, IL  She graduated from Antioch High School in Illinois, and she was a homemaker and child care provider. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 13, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Church on the Hill (also known as Sugar Hill Methodist Church) in Sugar Hill, GA with Rev. Jeff Coleman officiating.  The family will visit with friends following the service.
