Frankie Edward Turk

Frankie Edward Turk, age 70, passed away on November 9, 2021 in his home in Madison County.  Mr. Turk was born on June 3, 1951 to Junior and Evelyn Turk in Buford, GA where he grew up. He graduated from Buford City Schools in 1969.  In 1971 he enlisted in the USAF and served his country honorably for four years in Wichita, KS.  He then moved back to Buford and worked as a Sheet Metal Specialist until Retirement.  In the 2000s he relocated to Madison County to be closer to his children.   Frankie loved life and was a die-hard Ga Bulldog fan. 

He is survived by his 2 children, Kimberly Turk Reed and Joseph Lee Turk.  Grandchildren are:  Reghan Fraley, Hayden Turk, Lilian Turk; 2 great-grandchildren, sister, Jackie Humphrey and brother, Christopher Turk.

There will be a Memorial visitation on Monday, November 15, 2021 from 6-8 pm at Flanigan Funeral Home in Buford, GA.
