Carl Emory Turpin

Mr. Carl Emory Turpin, age 78, of Flowery Branch passed away Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at his residence, surrounded by his family.

Funeral Services will be 3:00 p.m., Sunday, November 14, 2021 in the Chapel of Memorial Park South Funeral Home with interment following at Memorial Park South Cemetery.  Rev. Bobby Griffin and Rev. Pierce Ashmore will officiate.  The family will receive friends 1:00 – 3:00 p.m., Sunday, November 14, 2021 at Memorial Park South Funeral Home.

Mr. Turpin was born January 21, 1943 to the late Lester Turpin & Lillie Mae Dover Turpin in Forsyth County.  A Veteran of the United States Army Reserve, he was a member of New Haven Congregational Holiness and retired from Pak-Lite, where he worked as a printer.

Mr. Turpin is survived by his wife of 43 1/2 years, Mary Turpin; daughters, Jeannie Norberg, Wanda Turpin, Deanna Garrish, Deborah Kidd and Donna Lisa (Shane) Brookshire; son, Kerry Scott Garner; grandchildren, Jesse Brookshire and Gavin Scott Garner; brother, Jimmy Lee Turpin; and sisters, Ruby Nell Hall, Rose Jordan and Melba Lemley.
