Frankie Marie Reeves Luna

Obituary Date: Wednesday, November 10, 2021

Frankie Marie Reeves Luna, stepped out of her earthly body into the arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Wednesday, November 10, 2021. She would have been 84 years old this Saturday, November 13.

Frankie is survived by her beloved children, daughter and son-in-law, Sue and Troy Millikan; son, Davie Evans; and son and daughter-in-law, Eddie and Nina Evans.

Frankie was adored by her lovely grandchildren, Farrah Armour, Charles Neal Sumlin, Alie Evans, Dylan Evans, Semper, Eliy, and Elsub Habib. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren, Addy Smith and Ava Carnes.

Frankie was born and raised in Lumpkin County, Dahlonega/Dawsonville, Georgia. She was the only child of the late Belle (Hamilton) and John Dee Reeves. Frankie grew up loving nature and in love with her sweet puppies!

Frankie had movie star looks and a heart of gold. She earned her GED as a non-traditional student as well as becoming an Aesthetician. She would go on to become a very successful entrepreneur. Not afraid to go out on a limb, she opened and operated the first full service beauty and nail salon called, Frankie’s Final Touch, in Gainesville. She was also asked to serve on the State of Georgia Board of Cosmetology under the former Secretary of State and Senator, the late Max Cleland. Once again she ventured out and she and her former husband Juan Luna opened Luna’s Fine Dining restaurant. Becoming a restauranteur was important to her because she loved people. Luna’s became the most popular and well known restaurant in the city. Being the face of Luna’s she was affectionately loved by the community and well thought of.

She will be deeply missed by all who knew her and loved her, but her warmth and generosity, and joyful spirit will remain.
