Mr. William Marvin Hill, age 76 of McFarlin Bridge Road, Carnesville passed away Monday, November 8, 2021 at his residence.
A son of the late Lon and Mae Bell Brock Hill, he was born August 30, 1945 in Stephens County, Georgia having lived most of his life in Franklin County, Georgia. He was retired from Coats and Clark and was a member of Mt. Zion Methodist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Laverne Payne Hill, by his second wife, Sandra Corn Hill, by a son Thomas Marvin Hill and by two brothers, J.L. Hill and Joel Hill.
Survivors include a son, Fred Hill of Carnesville, Georgia; two grandchildren, Savannah Rose Hill and Thomas Marvin Hill; two sisters, Sara Richards and Hattie Mae Simmons both of Toccoa.
Graveside services will be Saturday, November 13, 2021, 11 O’clock a.m. at Mt. Zion Methodist Church Cemetery with The Reverend Dr. Tommy Childress officiating.
The family will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Saturday from 9 a.m. until time to leave for the graveside.
Interment will follow in the Mt. Zion Methodist Church Cemetery with the Acree-Davis Funeral Home and Crematory in charge of the arrangements for Mr. William Marvin Hill.
