Ralph Ed. Whitmire, Jr.

Mr. Ralph Ed Whitmire, Jr., age 50, of Bowersville, GA passed away on Tuesday, November 9, 2021.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Martha Whitmire, Sr.; stepson, Zachary Holman; sister-in-law, Allison Holman; mother-in-law, Dianne L. Holman Mr. Ralph Ed Whitmire, Jr., age 50, of  Bowersville, GA passed away on Tuesday, November 9, 2021.  He was.  He is survived by his wife of 8 years, Melissa Holman Whitmire, Bowersville, GA; son, Jackson Whitmire, Bowersville, GA; step-daughter, Madison Holman, Buford, GA; step-son, Ethan Renfroe, Bowersville, GA; father-in-law, Chestley Holman, Jr., Buford, GA; sister-in-law, Christy Holman, Buford, GA; nephew, Spencer Pacesky, Auburn, GA; aunts, Carol (David) Rimmer Hartwell, Shelby Whitmire, TX, Barbara Whitmire, Chino, CA, Sarah Walls, Anderson, SC; uncles, LeRoy (Nancy) Whitmire, Anderson, David Rogers, Anderson, SC;  numerous other relatives.  Mr. Whitmire was born on December 4, 1920 in Salsbury, NC.  He was a 1988 graduate of North Gwinnett High School.  Mr. Whitmire worked in the auto mechanic industry.  He was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church, Buford, GA.  He enjoyed going to Antique Tractor shows and also liked restoring tractors.  A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, November 14, 2021 at Zion Hill Baptist Church, Buford, GA with Rev. Danny Newbern officiating.  Interment will follow at Zion Hill Baptist Church Cemetery, Buford, GA. The family will receive friends from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Saturday, November 13, 2021 at Flanigan Funeral Home, Buford, GA.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Flanigan Funeral Home to help with the funeral expenses in memory of Ed Whitmire.  The family greatly appreciates any donations.
