Frank Joseph Stubits

Mr. Frank Joseph Stubits, age 49, of Buford passed away on November 8, 2021 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville.

Funeral Mass will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, November 12, 2021 at Prince of Peace Catholic Church.  Father Dennis Dorner will officiate.  The family will receive friends 2:00-4:00 and 5:00-7:00 p.m., with The Divine Mercy Chaplet being said 6:00-7:00 p.m., on Thursday, November 11, 2021 at Memorial Park South Funeral Home.

Mr. Stubits was born July 19, 1972 in New York to Frank Stubits, Sr. and the late Joan Toma Lippold. He was a retired fireman and EMT from the Lindenhurst Volunteer Fire Department of Lindenhurst, New York.  A member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church, Frank was involved in several ministries that included: Connect Group, Connect Leadership, Connect Group Divine Mercy Co-Facilitator, Connect Group Bridge Builder Facilitator, Saint Vincent de Paul and Grief Share.  He was also a member of the Gwinnett County Citizens Police Academy Alumni and a member of Knights of Columbus in Florida.

He is survived by his husband, Steven Luttrull; stepdaughters, Cassandra M. Luttrull and Alexandria R. Luttrull; and father & stepmother, Frank & Ann Stubits.
