Greg Eugene McGhee

Greg Eugene McGhee, age 56, of Falling Waters, WV, formerly of Cumming, GA, passed away on Tuesday, November 2, 2021. Greg was a member of Mt. Tabor Baptist Church in Cumming, GA. He was a member of the Chesapeake Jeep Club in Maryland. While living in Forsyth County, Greg served with the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Department and was a volunteer firefighter. Those who knew him would say that he never met a stranger. He is preceded in death by his brother, Jeff McGhee; grandmother, Irene Fouts; and grandfather, Hoyte Williams.

He is survived by his daughter, Megan McGhee Gains; granddaughters, Krystal, Alyssa, and Elena Gains; partner, Matt Kiley; mother and stepfather, Sandra and George Cain; siblings, Jennifer and Jason McGhee; uncle, Roger Williams; along with many other loving relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 13, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home in Cumming, GA, with Rev. David Frix officiating. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Gardens in Cumming, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Brain Aneurysm Foundation in memory of Greg.
