T.C. Evans

Mr. T.C. Evans, 87, of Gainesville passed away Monday, November 8, 2021 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center Gainesville Campus.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 13, 2021 in the Chapel of Memorial Park funeral Home. Rev. Darryl Womack and Jimmy Campbell will officiate. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Friday, November 12, 2021 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Born on September 1, 1934 in Jefferson, he was the son of the late Homer and Clara Bell Childers Evans. He was retired from Chicopee where he was a Loom operator. Mr. Evans was a member of Montgomery Memorial Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Evans is preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Davis Evans; sisters, Aline Grizzle, Bertie Mae Evans; brothers, Hubert Evans, Charles Evans and Leroy Evans.

Mr. Evans is survived by his sister, Geraldine Buffington of Gainesville; nieces, Shauna Jarrard of Clermont, Caitlen Peck of Gainesville; nephew, Braden Pressley of Toccoa; niece, Elana Sayne of Maysville and nephews, Deacon Sayne of Maysville, Tripp Emmett of Canton and a number of other nieces, nephews and loving relatives.
