Edward Ray Gunter

Edward Ray Gunter, age 83, of Winder passed away Thursday, November 4, 2021.

Ray loved his family and church but he also loved working on anything including his yard.

Survivors include his wife of 61 years Martha Ledford Gunter; son Danny Ray Gunter and  Tammy R. Crumley of Arcade; brother Larry Gunter and wife Charlotte of Royston; sisters Frances Sullens of Homer, Shirley Pruitt and husband Jerry of Commerce; grandson Corey Lee Gunter and wife Sarah of Hoschton; great-granddaughter Magnolia Mae Gunter and a host of other relatives. 

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Monday, November 8, 2021 at Lawson Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Steve Fenlon will be officiating. Interment to follow at Walnut Fork Baptist Church Cemetery, 557 Highway 60, Hoschton, Ga 30548. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm Sunday, November 7, 2021 at the funeral home.
