Buddy "Mitchell" Hewell

Buddy “Mitchell” Hewell, age 52, of Cleveland, Georgia, entered into Heaven on Thursday, November 4, 2021.

The family will receive friends from 1:30 to 3:30 pm Sunday, November 7, 2021 prior to the service. Funeral services are scheduled for 3:30 pm Sunday, November 7, 2021 at Memorial Park North Riverside Chapel. Reverend Wayne Norris will officiate.

Mitchell was born September 12, 1969 in Commerce, Georgia. He was the son of the late Frederick Hewell and Mildred Patricia (Jones) Hewell.

He was a member of the Clermont Pentacostal Lighthouse Church.

Mitchell loved hunting, fishing, camping trips, family gatherings, and spending time with family and friends. He was famous for his great barbque and brunswick stew. He was an avid Georgia Bulldogs Fan and the Atlanta Braves Baseball. He was most proud of being “Papa” to his grandsons.

Mitchell is survived by his loving wife, Julia (Stewart) Hewell; son, Mitchell “Seth” Hewell; son and daughter-in-law, Nathan Lee and Alanna Hewell; grandsons, Preslee Hewell and Hadlee Hewell; sisters, Karen & Johnny Miller, Patsy & Hal McCauley, Debbie and Billy Ray II “Pedro” Lomax, Becky Hewell, Amy and Bradley Lomax, Misty and Matt Conner; He is also a beloved uncle to many nieces and nephews.

Memorial Park Funeral Home North Riverside Chapel, 989 Riverside Dr. is in charge of arrangements.
