Virginia Jones Varnum

Virginia Jones Varnum, age 89, of Murrayville, GA passed away on Thursday, November 4, 2021. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Varnum; parents, Ferriel and Vera Mulkey Jones; seven brothers and sisters. Mrs. Varnum is survived by children, Cherry Ann Fogle of Murrayville, Bobbie Jean User of Florida, Robert Ray Varnum, Jr of Louisville, KY; thirteen grandchildren; thirty great grandchildren; and great great grandchildren; brothers, Robert Franklin Jones and Joseph Washington Jones; sisters, Nelllie Katie Jones Allison, Martha Clyde Jones Enfinger, Alma Lee Jones Abercrombie, Betty Jean Jones Fogel; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Mrs. Varnum was born on May 21, 1932 in Oakridge, Tennessee. She was a retired nursing assistant, and a member of Regency Church of God. A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 12, 2021 with Pastor Terry Reece officiating. Interment will follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens in Duluth, GA. The family will receive friends at the church on Friday, November 12 from 12:00 noon until time for the service at 2:00 p.m.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Regency Church of God,  P O Box 1118, Buford, GA 30515 in memory of Virginia Varnum.
