Joseph Scott Cole

Joseph Scott Cole age 51, of Gainesville passed away Friday November 5, 2021 at his residence.

Scott was born in Atlanta on December 25, 1969 to the late William Charles & Linda Lovetta Parsons Cole. He was very active in the community serving as an ambassador for the Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce from 1995-2001. Scott was also a member of the Gainesville Jaycees from 1999-2002 where he served as the director from 2000-2002. He was very involved with the Jaycees’ Gut Check program which works with boys to help them develop self-esteem, character & confidence. Scott was an avid fisherman and loved to play softball.

He formerly worked as a warehouse manager at McGarity’s Business Products and AAA Welding. He later worked at CVS and Wal-Mart as a Manager.

Survivors include his daughter, Madeline Grace Cole; brother, Jason Cole; sisters, Janet Buffington, Sandra Presley, Michelle Cole & Kristie Walters.

Private memorial services will be held at a later date.
