Jose T. Chavez

Mr. Jose T. Chavez, 50, of Gainesville, passed away Monday, November 1, 2021 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center Gainesville Campus.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 4, 2021 at St. John Paul II Catholic Church. Father Mark Starr will officiate. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 3rd from 10:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m.

Born on November 6, 1970 in Durango, Mexico, he was the son of the late Salvador Chavez and the late Teresa Rodriguez. Mr. Chavez was of the Catholic faith.

Mr. Chavez is survived by his wife, Rosenda Martinez Chavez of Gainesville; sons, Omar Chavez, Kevin Chavez, Nestor Chavez, Mauro Chavez; daughters, Allison Chavez, Hilda Chavez; sister, Rosa Elena Chavez; brothers, Salvador Chavez, Marcelino Chavez, Manuel Chavez, Luis Chavez all of Gainesville and a number of other loving relatives.
