Mrs. Phyllis Diane Beatty Freels, age 84 of Yow Mill Road, Toccoa passed away Sunday, October 31, 2021 at her residence.
A daughter of the late Harve E. Beatty and Marie Galloway Beatty, she was born March 27, 1937 in Burrville, Tennessee having lived in Toccoa since 1995. She was employed with the Hosiery Mill in Tennessee for a number of years. She was of the Baptist faith and attended Confidence United Methodist Church. She loved to fish.
Survivors include her husband, Thurman Freels of the home; daughter, Donna Covault and her fiancé`, Todd Hobson of Toccoa; son, Harold Ray Freels and wife, Danielle of San Hose, California; grandchildren; Amanda Anthony, Christopher Covault, Karl Freels and Marie Freels; two sisters, Beverly Clough of Tennessee and Sue Walters of Michigan; two brothers, Bobby Beatty and Rainesville, Alabama and Alvin Beatty of Kentucky.
Graveside services will be Tuesday, November 2, 2021, 2 O’clock p.m. at the Stephens Memorial Gardens with The Reverend Dennis Wilkes officiating.
The family will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Tuesday from noon until time to leave for the graveside. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.acree-davisfh.com.
Interment will follow in the Stephens Memorial Gardens with the Acree-Davis Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of the arrangements for Mrs. Phyllis Beatty Freels.
