DeAndre’ Duane Blades

DeAndre’ Duane Blades aka Doobie was born on March 18, 1985 in Mt. Vernon, NY. DeAndre’ departed this life on Wednesday October 13, 2021. DeAndre’ was educated in the Greenburgh Central 7 School district achieving his Diploma from Woodlands H.S. in 2003. DeAndre’ held various jobs over the years including a position at DeKalb Sanitation. DeAndre’ loved everyone and he was loved by everyone. DeAndre’ loved fast cars, any type of car, the mechanics of cars, the sound of the engines, he was a great driver. DeAndre’ loved to cook, and he loved spending time with family & friends. DeAndre’ was a fun-loving man, always laughing, joking and enjoying life, he never held a grudge, he was very genuine, and he LOVED everyone. DeAndre’ was preceded in death by his mother Deborah Blades, Father Robert S. Blades and brother Devon G. Nowlin. DeAndre’ leaves to treasure his memories a lot of family; his siblings’ sister Dwana Blades of Atlanta, GA, brother Donte Blades of Queens, NY, sisters Latte Smith of Hartford CT, Tashia Sneed of Lynchburg, VA and brother Latt George of Mt. Vernon. And Mr. Eddie George of Mt. Vernon. Aunts Shari D. Lewis (maternal) and Diana Blades-Coleman (paternal) and biological uncle Ivan Blades (paternal). Nephews Korey D. Banks & Kareem D. Banks whom he loved more than anyone else in the whole world. “They” say “blood is thicker than water” but DeAndre’ was blessed to have a bonus family that had a bond greater than water and stronger than blood, with this family he leaves cherish his memory, his mother Rev. Gail Bush, Brother Phinizy Bush III (Sentoria) nephews, DeAndre Davenport, Deon Bush, nieces DeAndrea Bush and Denae Bush all of Lawrenceville, GA. In addition, brothers Romeo Etienne (Sharazon), Rayvon Miller, Travis Rooks, Anthony Bush (Lorin), Tyron Garnett (JaKayla), Jacquell Garnett (Monae’), Tyquan Bush, Tyrell Bush, and sisters Nicole Bush-Mclain (Brakim), Yiafia Dowridge, Champrece Dowridge and Sierra Garnett. God-Parents Wilson and Debra Collazo. A host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and close friends. And one very special friend Ms. Veda Roseborough.
Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday, October 30, 2021 at Salem Baptist Church 4700 Church St. Lilburn, GA at 12:00 Noon.
