Connie Adams Grizzle

Connie Adams Grizzle, of Gainesville, loving wife, mother, sister, daughter, grandmother, great-grandmother and mother-in-law, died Monday, October 25th, at the age of 86.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 29, 2021 in Memorial Park Cemetery. Rev. Dr. Ron Grizzle will officiate.

Born on July 9, 1935 in Gainesville to J. Downey and Estee Adams, Connie was married for nearly 52 years to A. Howard Grizzle, until his death in 2003.  She was a hard-working mother of four sons. The Grizzles were active members of the New Holland Congregational Holiness Church, and later at the Oakwood Gospel Tabernacle, for many years.

In addition to her parents and husband, Connie is preceded in death by her two sisters, Geraldine Lee and Becky Hewell.

Connie is survived by her four sons and their wives:  Ronald and Penny Grizzle of Flowery Branch, J. Wendell and Cheryl Grizzle of Gainesville, Michael A. and Irene Grizzle of Lula, and B. Kelly and Theresa Grizzle of Clayton. She and Howard had 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.  

Memorial Park Funeral Home, 2030 Memorial Park Road, Gainesville, GA  30504 is in charge of arrangements.
