Alfonso Lara Perez

Mr. Alfonso Lara Perez, 63, of Gainesville, GA passed away Thursday, October 21, 2021, at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 29, 2021, at Saint Michaels Catholic Church.  Father Ignacio Peres will officiate.  Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.  The family will receive friends Thursday, October 28, 2021, from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Memorial Park Funeral Home.

Alfonso was born January 23, 1958, in Tula-Santa Ana de Nahola, Tamaulipas, Mexico.  He was the son of the late Virginio Lara and Carmen Perez.  Mr. Lara was also preceded in death by his brother, Santos and sister, Hilaria.  He was a heavy machine operator with SA Recycling, was of the Catholic faith and was loved and respected by many of those that had the opportunity to meet him.

Mr. Lara is survived by his wife, Angela Reyna; son, Fernando Lara; daughters, Danira Lara, Lorena Lara, Anna Cristina Lara; brothers and sisters, Amada, Gabina, Jose, Salustria, Sunjuana and Navor.  A number of nieces, nephews and other loving relatives also survive.

Alfonso nació el 23 de enero de 1958 en Santa Ana de Nahola Municipio de Tula, Tamaulipas, México. Era hijo del fallecido Virginio Lara y Carmen Pérez. El Sr. Lara también fue precedido en la muerte por su hermano Santos y su hermana Hilaria. Era un operador de maquinaria pesada con SA Recycling, era de fe católica y fue amado y respetado por muchos de los que tuvieron la oportunidad de conocerlo.

Al Sr. Lara le sobreviven su esposa, Angela Reyna; hijo, Fernando Lara; hijas, Danira Lara, Lorena Lara, Anna Cristina Lara; hermanos y hermanas, Amada, Gabina, Jose, Salustria, Sunjuana y Navor. También sobreviven varias sobrinas, sobrinos y otros parientes cariñosos.
