Chandler Pittman

Chandler Pittman, age 87, of Braselton, GA, passed away on Friday, October 22, 2021. 

He was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Virginia Archer Pittman; daughter, Virginia Diane Pittman and son, Thomas Sam Pittman. 

He is survived by his wife Emily Lord Pittman of Jefferson, GA; daughters,  Lucy Pichard (Gene) of Gainesville, GA and Marie Bailey (Greg) of Winder, GA; 5 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; sisters, Julie Cook of Lawrenceville, GA and Joyce Pealock (Billy) of Suwanee, GA; several nieces, nephews and cousins. 

Mr. Pittman was born on October 17, 1934 in Lula, GA.  He received his education in the Hall Co. school system and worked for Holbrook Myers Grading Co.  Mr. Pittman was a member of Oak Grove Independent Baptist Church.  He was a former member of Old Suwanee Baptist Church for a number of years and a member of Operate Engineer 926, Rex, Ga. 

A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 26, 2021, at White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Duluth, GA, with Rev. Danny Green officiating.  The family will receive friends from 4:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, October 25, 2021 and from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 27, 2021, at Flanigan Funeral Home.
