Stanley James Kent

Mr. Stanley James Kent, 75, of Flowery Branch, passed away Friday, October 22, 2021 at his residence.

A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 24, 2021 in Memorial Park Cemetery. Rev. James Duncan will officiate. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m.

Born on October 8, 1946 in Dry Pond, GA, he was the son of the late Isaac Kent and the late Thelma Bryant Kent. He worked in the parts department at Hardy Chevrolet.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Kent is preceded in death by his son, David Kent.

Mr. Kent is survived by his wife, Susan Vickery Kent of Flowery Branch; sons and daughters in law, Stephen and Christy Kent of Gainesville, Jason and Brandie Kent of Commerce, Matt Kent of Hoschton; daughter, Elizabeth Kent of Flowery Branch; grandchildren, Josh Kent, Caitlin Kent, Andy Kent, A.J. Kent, Walker Kent, Sofia Vieyra; a number of great grandchildren; sister, Martha Brown of Homer and a number of other loving relatives.
