Margaret Ann Ledford

Mrs. Margaret Ann Ledford, 87, of Gainesville, passed away Saturday, October 23, 2021 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center Gainesville Campus following an extended illness.

Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 24, 2021 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Rev. Bradley Elliott and Rev. Brian Stephens will officiate. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 3:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.

Born on January 24, 1934 in Gainesville, she was the daughter of the late Marvin Wood Sr. and the late Cozetta Canada Wood. She was retired from the Day Care industry where she owned her own business. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Ledford was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald L. Ledford and brother, Marvin Wood, Jr. Mrs. Ledford was a member of New Holland Baptist Church.

Mrs. Ledford is survived by her children; daughter and son in law, Jennifer and Spencer Tucker of Gainesville; sons and daughters in law, Ronny and Kim Ledford of Gainesville, Tim and Yvonne Ledford of Gainesville; grandchildren and spouses, Susan Fraser (Brian), Chrissy Brooks and fiancé Michael Mullins, Matt Ledford (Jordan), Lance Ledford, Adam Tucker (Jennifer), Alexis Fraser, Josh Fraser; great granddaughter, Kaylee Aycock; great grandsons, Noah Smith, Karter Aycock, Ethan Tucker, Kooper Ledford, Eli Tucker; great-great grandson, Harrison Fraser and a number of other loving relatives.
