Charles “Buddy” Alvie Mann

Mr. Charles “Buddy” Alvie Mann, age 79, of Cleveland passed away Wednesday, October 20, 2021.

Buddy was born in Atlanta on May 21, 1942, to the late Edgar Vaughn and Harriette Eubanks Mann. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Paulette Gorman.  He was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather. Buddy retired from the United States Postal Service. He loved spending time with family, being outdoors, and hunting and fishing with his great friends. Buddy will be greatly missed.

Missing him most will be his wife of 59 years, Sarah Mann; his daughters Jennie V. Pilgrim (Joseph), April E. Mann, Maria Mann Kent (Tony), and Catherine E. Mann; grandchildren Taylor Winkler, Charles Peyton Myers, and Sarah Grace Myers; one great-granddaughter Oaklyn Murray; sisters Tonia Anding, Prue, Liepelt, and Edwina Shaw (Butch); and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

A memorial service will be held 12:00 PM Saturday, October 23, 2021, at the chapel of Anderson-Underwood Funeral Home. Pastor Darrell Lovell will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to be made to Generation Church, 7702 Duncan Bridge Road, Cleveland, GA 30528.
