Marvin Lloyd Wallis, age 81, of Blue Ridge, GA passed away on October 19, 2021. He was preceded in death by wife, Annette Masters Wallis; son, Phillip Wallis. He is survived by his sons, Michael Wallis (Tina) of Forsyth, GA, Scott Wallis (Carolyn Goodman) of Blairsville, GA; grandchildren, Heather Wallis of Joppatowne, MD, Taylor Wallis and Robby Baker of Blairsville, GA; Clay and Madison Wallis of Murphy, NC; great-grandchildren, Hudson Wallis, Hensley Wallis, Greyson Sparks, sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Nell and Thurmon Turk of Dacula, GA; several beloved nieces, nephews and cousins. Mr. Wallis was born on April 14, 1940 in Lawrenceville, GA. He received his education at Dacula High School, Dacula, GA and also attended Mercer University. Mr. Wallis was retired and was the owner of Wallis Woodworks and worked at Flav-O-Rich Dairies. He also had worked for Southland Life Insurance for a number of years. Mr. Wallis was a strong supporter of Crosskeys Baptist Church in Macon, GA. He enjoyed his woodworking. He loved his family and was a proud grandfather and great-grandfather. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, October 22, 2021 in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Ben Wallis officiating. Interment will follow at Gwinnett Memorial Park in Lawrenceville, GA. The family will receive friends, before the service from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Friday, October 22.
