Kelly Roy Standridge

Mr. Kelly Roy Standridge, age 79 of Barton Creek Road, Westminster passed away Monday, October 18, 2021 at Prisma Health Oconee Memorial Hospital.

A son of the late Jim and Bessie Cooper Standridge, he was born March 19, 1942 in Oconee County, South Carolina where he lived all his life.  He was retired from Metromont Materials in Seneca, South Carolina and later retired from Oconee County School System.  He was of the Baptist faith.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Stewart Standridge.

Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Melissa and William Mitchell of Walhalla, South Carolina; son and daughter-in-law, Troy and Judy Standridge of Westminster, South Carolina; grandchildren, LeeAnn Holbrooks of Anderson, South Carolina, Montana Mitchell of Salem, South Carolina and Tucker Mitchell of Walhalla, South Carolina and eight more grandchildren; brothers and sister-in-law, Thomas Standridge of Toccoa and John and Mildred Standridge of Westminster, South Carolina; sister, Bertie Mae Pelfrey of Seneca, South Carolina.

Graveside services will be Friday, October 22, 2021, 2 O’clock p.m. at the First Baptist Memorial Park Cemetery with The Reverend Delbert McCall officiating.  The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, William Mitchell, Brandon Capps, G.J. Smith, Sawyer Grambell, Terry Smith and Richard Holbrooks.

The family will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Thursday, 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.

Interment will follow in the First Baptist Memorial Park Cemetery with the Acree-Davis Funeral Home and Crematory in charge of the arrangements for Mr. Kelly Roy Standridge.
