Estelle Beatrice Patterson

Mrs. Estelle Beatrice Patterson, age 94 of Dahlonega passed away Tuesday, October 19, 2021. 

Mrs. Patterson was born in Hall County on June 13, 1927 to the late Lonnie Martin and Hattie Rose Lee Martin.  She was the last of all the children born to Lonnie and Hattie and she was also preceded in death by her husband Homer Patterson, and children Barbara Butler, Charles Patterson and Linda Sue Harkins.

Being together with family was Mrs. Patterson's greatest joy.  She was a loving mother and grandmother.  Big dinners at "Granny Patterson's" house was the best times shared by her family.  She had to make sure everyone was invited to be there.  Thanksgiving and Easter were here favorite holidays. Mrs. Patterson was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church. 

Survivors include her children Kenneth Patterson, Oakwood; Shirley Davis Patterson, Dahlonega; Mildred Chastain, Murrayville; Kermit Patterson; Patricia "Chris" Head (Don); Deborah Evans Patterson (Bill), all of Dahlonega; Diane Savage, Lula; 21 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren; 11 great great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and other relatives. 

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Thursday, October 21, 2021 at the chapel of Anderson-Underwood Funeral Home.  The Rev. Lyman Caldwell will officiate.  Interment will follow in Bethlehem Jones Chapel Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.
