Laura Zane Scogin, age 65 of Commerce, GA passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 13, 2021.
Born on Aug. 23, 1956 in Cowpen, SC, Mrs. Scogin was the daughter of the late Charles and Joy LeMaster Wood. She worked in housekeeping at BJC, of the Baptist faith, and was preceded in death by a sister, Babbie Schuler.
Survivors include her husband, William Scogin of the home; daughters, Haven Trogdon, Amanda Rion; brothers, Danny Butts, James Wood; and 7 grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held 3 pm Monday, Oct. 18, 2021 at Banks Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends 1:00-2:30 pm Monday at the funeral home.
