Dana William Gile

Dana William Gile, 74, of Buford, GA passed away Saturday, October 16, 2021. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dene Willard and Marguerite Miller Gile. Mr. Gile is survived by his wife of 37 years, Lianne Hembree Gile; daughter, Michelle Burns of New Jersey; daughter, Stacey Perlino (Justin) of Buford, GA; son, Benjamin Harris (Jennifer) of Cumming, GA; grandchildren, Fallon Perlino, Calden Perlino, Braeden Harris, Sadie Harris, Emma Harris, Asher Harris, and Abby Bonti; sisters, Glee Gile of Tea, SD, Paula Carlson of Champlain, MN, and JoAnn Gile of Loveland, CO. Several nieces, nephews, and extended family also survive. Mr. Gile was born December 20, 1946 in Sioux Falls, SD, and was a graduate of Washington High School and St. Augustine College in Sioux Falls. He retired as an analyst for the IRS, and was a member of Cornerstone Church of Christ in Buford, GA. He was quick witted and opinionated. He loved old westerns, war movies, and a good cup of coffee. Mr. Gile was a character who was dearly loved by his family and will be greatly missed. A Celebration of Life Service is scheduled for 1:00 PM Saturday, October 30, 2021 in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home. Steve Gooch and Fenton Gardner will officiate. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12 Noon until service hour.
