Jerrod Burton Thrift Hurst, age 24, of Cleveland, passed away on Thursday, October 14, 2021.
Jerrod was born on November 11, 1996, in Brunswick, Georgia, to Robert and Nancy Selena Hurst. Jerrod was preceded in death by his grandfather, Jasper Glynn Horne.
Survivors include his parents, Selena and Stanley Hurst, Cleveland; brother, Barret Thrift, Nahunta, GA; sister and brother-in-law, Kelly M. Hurst Gilliard and Jesse Gilliard; grandmother, Eva Horne; uncles, Gerald Peete and Harry Hurst; aunt, Joyce Smith; many cousins also survive.
Funeral services are scheduled for 12 noon, Monday, October 18, 2021, at The Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. Mr. Jesse Gilliard will officiate. Interment will follow at Yonah View Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 A.M. until the funeral hour on Monday at the funeral home.
