James Howard Skelton

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mr. James Howard Skelton, age 72, of Hoschton, Georgia, who entered into rest Monday October 11, 2021. Mr. Skelton was born in Hoschton, Georgia, a son of the late Paul and Mary Brown Skelton. Mr. Skelton retired from the Department of Transpiration. Mr. Skelton was preceded in death by his wife Joan Culpepper Skelton, son Jason Skelton, brothers Edward Skelton and Raymond Skelton, half sisters Judy Ledford and Cathy Ledford.  

Survivors include brother, Billy Skelton and his wife Mary of Maysville Georgia, sister Sandra Jackson of Pendergrass Georgia, sister Pam Rainwater and her husband Clarke of Pendergrass Georgia, sister Susan Fauner and her husband Greg of Cleveland Tennessee, two grandchildren Blake and Bella Skelton of Maysville Georgia.  

Graveside service will be held Thursday October 14, 2021 at 11:00 AM from the Skelton Family Cemetery at 659 Skelton Rd. Hoschton Georgia with Reverend Calvin Gooch officiating.
