Sharon Lee Ogg Hall

Sharon Lee Ogg Hall, a resident of Helen, Ga. age 91 died at home at on October 6, 2021 with the loving attention of her daughters and their beloved friend Gina.  Services will be held at The Episcopal Church of the Resurrection in Sautee-Nacoochee, Ga. On Saturday October 16 at 2:00 PM.  Arrangements are by Barrett Funeral Home in Cleveland, Ga.

Sharon was born in Gibson City, Illinois to Helen Wilson Ogg and Lynn Orris Ogg on St. Patrick’s Day, March 17, 1930.  She married her high school sweetheart, Jack Hall on Christmas Eve 1947 in Gibson City, Illinois.  After Jack’s death, she remarried William (Bud) Auterman and remained in Helen. Sharon was very involved in church life and is a member of the Order of the Daughters of the King.  

Sharon was preceded in death by Her first husband Jack, second husband Bud, and daughter Lisa.

Sharon is survived by daughters Susan and Aimee and their husbands, Mike and Rob, three brothers John, Tom, and Jim, grandchildren Sean, Karl, Jack, Marcus, Angela, Ryan, Sarah, and Mellina.  In addition, she leaves several great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and multiple “unofficial” sons and daughters.

Sharon loved her mountain and went out the way she always said she would, in her own home.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, Shriners Hospitals for Children or Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
