Aline Crane McClure, 90, of Dawsonville passed away Monday, October 11, 2021 at Lanier Place in Cumming following a period of declining health.
Born October 12, 1930 to the late Brock and Pearl Crane, Aline was a lifelong resident of Dawson County. A member of the First Baptist Church of Dawsonville, she retired following 30 years of service with H.R.H. Insurance Company. Aline also worked as a clerk for the City of Dawsonville under Mayor Pete Gilleland and as a cashier at Fred’s in Dawsonville for a number of years. Since 2010, Aline greatly enjoyed volunteering at the Georgia Racing Hall of Fame and she also enjoyed listening to music. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil McClure; son, Don McClure; sisters, Priscilla Hughes, Vivian White, Jeanette Fausett, Wynelle Bennett, Jean Strawn.
Surviving are her sister, Shirley Bearden of Dawsonville; daughter in law, Teresa McClure of Acworth; nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Funeral services will be held Thursday October 14, 2021 at 2 p.m. at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel. Dr. Jim Gaines will officiate. Interment will follow at Bethel Baptist Church in Dawsonville.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12 noon until the hour of service on Thursday.
