Mrs. Genea Monette Teague Rosser, age 43 of Skyline Drive, Toccoa, Georgia passed away Thursday, October 7, 2021 as her residence.

A daughter of Teresa Henson Highfill and Jerry Eugene Teague, she was born November 1, 1977 in White County, Georgia having lived in Cornelia, Georgia before moving to Toccoa.  She was a Christian, high spirited, a very loving and caring person.  She loved to vacation at Folly Beach. 

Survivors include her mother, Teresa Highfill of Cleveland, Georgia; father and step-mother, Jerry and Debbie Teague of Jefferson, Georgia; husband of the home, Coley Rosser; daughter and son-in-law, Caroline and Eric Jones of Lula, Georgia; sons, A.J. Dodd and Sabastion Dodd both of Mt. Airy, Georgia; grandchildren, Caden Jones, Natalie Jones and Matthew Jones; two brothers, Jonas Teague and Daniel Highfill; sisters and brother-in-law, Michelle Teague, Crystal Teague and Rachel Collins and Chris Highfill; a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, October 12, 2021, 2 O’clock p.m. in the Hillcrest Chapel of the Acree-Davis Funeral Home with Mr. Rex Satterfield and Pastor Mark Waters officiating.  The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Garnett Dodd, Justin Ferguson, A.J. Dodd, Sabastion Dodd, Eric Jones and Shane Couch.

The family will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Tuesday from noon until the service time.  Online condolences may be left for the family at www.acree-davisfh.com.

Due to the health and well-being of the community, masks are encouraged during the visitation and service.

Interment will follow in the Toccoa City Cemetery with the Acree-Davis Funeral Home and Crematory in charge of the arrangements for Mrs. Genea Monette Teague Rosser.
