Blanche Butler Carpenter

Blanche Butler Carpenter, 93, of Suwanee, GA, formerly of Turnerville, GA, passed away Saturday, October 9, 2021. She was preceded in death by her husband, Norman C. Carpenter. Mrs. Carpenter is survived by her daughter, Donna Stone (Alex) of Suwanee, GA; son, Ron Carpenter (Ann) of Radford, VA; grandchildren, Shane Carpenter (Lori), Scott Carpenter (Misty), Stephen Carpenter (Chandra), Kelley Pflug (Ryan), and Kevin Stone; great grandchildren, Abby Carpenter, Logan Carpenter, Mackenzie Carpenter, Kyler Carpenter, Brynley Carpenter, Kendall Carpenter, Cohen Carpenter, Nathan Pflug, and Rylee Pflug. Several nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive. Mrs. Carpenter was born February 19, 1928 in Lake Butler, FL, and was a graduate of Union County High School in Lake Butler. She was a bookkeeper for Fasting Lumber Company for over eighteen years, as well as a caregiver. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Buford, and former member of Harvest Christian Church of Clarkesville, GA. A Funeral services are scheduled for 1:30 pm Thursday, October 14, 2021 in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home in Buford. Rev. Craig Kingsley will officiate. Interment will follow at 3:30 pm in Turnerville Church of God Cemetery in Hollywood, GA. The family will receive friends at Flanigan Funeral Home in Buford from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm Wednesday, October 13, 2021.
