Paula Ann Powers

Paula Ann Powers, 57 of Gainesville, GA passed away on Friday, October 8, 2021 after a brief illness.  She was born to the late J.W. and Patsy Ann Day in Cumming GA.  She was of the Baptist faith and was a member of Etowah Baptist Church, Dawsonville, GA.  She loved the beach, mountains and going to concerts.  She really enjoyed spending time with her family.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Martha Day and father in law, Ernest Powers.

She is survived by her husband, Frankie Powers of Gainesville, GA; children, Justin and Harlee Green of Clarksville, GA, Josh and Amber Green of Gainesville, GA, Clay and Eden Powers of Gainesville, GA, Megan and J.J. Belton of Maysville, GA, Jonathon Posten of Dawsonville, GA; grandchildren, BrookLynn, Zaidye, Daffodil, Solomon, Brixton; mother in law, Evelyn Powers of Gainesville, GA; sisters, Tracy and Michael Powers of Gainesville, GA; brothers, James and Patty Day of Dahlonega, GA, B.J. Day of Dawsonville, GA; niece, Taylor Day of Dahlonega, GA; nephew, Devin and Tori Powers of Gainesville, GA; and numerous other relatives survive. 

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at the Bearden Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverends Steve Lewallen, Joey Gilbert, and Tony Holtzclaw officiating.  Interment will follow the service at Harmony Baptist Church, Dawsonville, GA.

The family will receive friends on Monday from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. and again on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until service time at Bearden Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made in Paula’s memory to St. Jude Childrens Hospital at stjude.org
