Roger Standridge                                                        Toccoa, Georgia

Mr. Roger Neal Standridge, age 73 of Yearwood Street, Toccoa passed away Thursday, October 7, 2021 at his residence.

A son of the late Thomas Neal Standridge and Lucy Ruth Turpin Standridge, he was born April 10, 1948 in Stephens County, Georgia where he lived all his life.  He was retired from Seab Carroll Enterprises and was of the Baptist faith.  He loved his kids, grandkids and riding his golf cart. 

Survivors include his wife of the home, Ellene Crane Standridge; daughters and son-in-law, Ann and Harold Gainous of Eastanollee and Sherri Simpson of Toccoa; son and daughter-in-law, Dale and Sharon Standridge of Toccoa; four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; brother, Winford “Red” Standridge of Hollywood, Georgia.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, October 12, 2021, 4 O’clock p.m. in the Hillcrest Chapel of the Acree-Davis Funeral Home with The Reverend Ray Bohannon officiating.  The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Ethan Simpson, Sherri Simpson, Dale Standridge, Bradley Standridge, Harold Gainous, Wayne Gainous, Sadie Blanchard and Noah Gainous.

The family will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Tuesday from 2 p.m. until the service time.

Due to the health and well-being of the community, masks are encouraged during visitation and service. 

Interment will follow in the Stephens Memorial Gardens with the Acree-Davis Funeral Home and Crematory in charge of the arrangements for Mr. Roger Neal Standridge.
