Kevin Ray Wallace, 52, of Harrison, GA, formerly of Cumming passed away Tuesday, October 5, 2021. Kevin spent his 30 year professional career in public safety. He began with the Alpharetta Fire Department, then joined the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office, the Lumpkin County Sheriff’s Office, the Forsyth County Fire Department and the Fulton County Fire Department. He also worked with Rural Metro Ambulance and the Georgia State Fire Marshall’s Office. Always the life of the party, Kevin loved his family. He enjoyed hunting and the outdoors. Kevin was very giving to everyone around him and never met a stranger.
Survivors include his brother, Kenneth Wallace, Sr.; sister, Kelda Phillips; sister-in-law, Cindy Wallace; nephews, Kenneth Wallace, Jr. Kerry Wallace; niece, Melissa Kennedy; great nephews, Jayden Ayers, Grayson Wallace; great nieces, Hope Kennedy, Brooke Wallace, Ryleigh Wallace; and his cousin and best friend, Tena Wheeler.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, October 10, at 11:00 a.m. at the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. David Frix officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 12:00 to 3:00 and 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the Benefit Fund for Families of Fallen Firefighters, c/o David Bradley, Administrator, 3655 Watson Road; Cumming, GA 30028
