Jimmy Allan Mitchell, 64, of Jefferson, GA, died Monday, October 4, 2021.

A memorial service will be held Friday, October 8, 2021 at 2 PM at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel. Pastor Jerry Bennett will officiate. The family will receive friends Friday, October 8, 2021 from 1 – 2 PM at the funeral home.

Jimmy was preceded in death by his father, Carl T. Mitchell, Sr. He is survived by his children, Emily Mitchell Alford (Michael) of Lula, GA, Wesley Allan Mitchell (Mareesa) of Lexington, GA; grandchildren, Lucas Alford, Allen Alford, Wesley Allan Mitchell, Jr., Bridget Alexis Flemming; mother, Jean Williams of Jefferson, GA; siblings, Terry Mitchell of Auburn, GA, Tommy Mitchell (Annette) of Lester, AL, Todd Mitchell (Pam) of Buford, GA, Chelsey Mitchell of Gainesville, GA.

Jimmy was born in Buford, GA and was a lifelong resident of the Buford area. He worked as a welder for Metal Products and retired from the Jefferson City School System. Jimmy will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
