A daughter of the late James Clayton Roberts and Jeannie Thomason Roberts, she was born April 13, 1931 in Franklin County, Georgia having lived most of her life in Stephens County. She was retired from the Stephens County School System and was a member of Nails Creek Baptist Church. She loved gardening and going to the farmers market. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Dewey Coker in 2014.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Greg and Dana Coker of Toccoa; grandchildren, Sierra and Jerry Tanumidjaja and Brianna Coker; great-granddaughter, Eliana.
Funeral services will be Thursday, October 7, 2021, 11 O’clock a.m. at the Nails Creek Baptist Church with The Reverend Joey Stewart and The Reverend Britt Ginn officiating. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Steve Coker, Rex Coker, Alan Coker, Gary Roberts, Brian Roberts and David Roberts.
The family will receive friends at the Nails Creek Baptist Church on Thursday from 10 a.m. until time for the service.
Due to the health and well-being of the community, social distancing is encouraged and masks during the visitation and service.
Interment will follow in the Nails Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with the Acree-Davis Funeral Home and Crematory in charge of the arrangements for Mrs. Lucille Roberts Coker.
