Flora Eloise Thomas, age 76 of Alto entered heaven Monday October 4, 2021 at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center, Gainesville.
Eloise was born May 5, 1945 in Gainesville to the late J.D. & Virginia Brookshire Loggins. She was a homemaker and a member of the Yonah Congregational Holiness Church. She was loved dearly and will be missed by her family and friends.
Surviving are her husband of 50 years, A.R. (Tony) Thomas; children, Dwayne (Kaye) Sexton, Deborah (Robbie) Reed, Tonya (Randy) Hix, Barbara Thomas & Ryan (Amy) Thomas; grandchildren, Kristi (Curtis) Hooper, Stephen Tolbert, Amber (Mitch) Cook, Jason (Anna) Sexton, Clara Hix, Katie Hix & Annah Thomas; great grandchildren, Alex, Gracie Faith, Hannah, Cooper, Pyper, Gracelyn & Ensley; siblings, Margaret Thomas, Elaine (Wayne) Turpin, Kenneth (Kathy) Loggins; special brother in law, Steve Thomas; many other family member also survive.
Funeral services will be held 12 noon Saturday October 9, 2021 at the Yonah Congregational Holiness Church with Rev. Dayton Sosebee officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until service time on Saturday at the church.
