Patrick Bernard McGinley

Mr. Patrick Bernard McGinley, 51, of Gainesville passed away September 30, 2021 at his residence.

Memorial services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, October 8, 2021 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Rev. Phil Carpenter will officiate. The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Friday from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.

Born on August 17, 1970 in Hamilton Ohio, he was the son of the late Bernard McGinley and the late Dorcas Barrett McGinley. He was employed with Martin Solutions as a dump truck driver and of the Christian faith.

In addition to his parents, Mr. McGinley is preceded in death by his first wife, Kathleen McGinley; brother, Jan Bryant and brother, Michael McGinley.

Mr. McGinley is survived by his wife, Kelly McGinley of Gainesville; brother, Eddie McGinley of Oakwood; sister, Teresa Mary Smith of Gainesville; step son, Reed Sims whom he loved dearly; niece, Kasey Smith; nephews, David McGinley, Logan Gonzalez and a host of other loving relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital at stjude.org or to Good News at Noon 979 Davis Street, Gainesville, GA 30501 which were organizations he truly believed in.
