Imogene Haynes Nix

Imogene Haynes Nix, age 80 of Gainesville entered rest Saturday October 2, 2021 at Friendship Nursing Home, Cleveland.

Imogene was born January 16, 1941 in Hall County to the late Woodrow & Minnie Arizona Hayes Haynes. She was a homemaker and a member of Mount Carmel Baptist Church in Lula. She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Nix; step son, David Nix; sister, Etheleen & Hazel.

Survivors include, son, Timmy Nix; stepchildren, Earl Nix, Sr., Joe Nix, Ted Nix & Betty Bennett; a number of grandchildren and other relatives also survive.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday October 6, 2021 in the Ward’s Chapel with Rev. Phil Parks officiating. Burial will follow in Midway Cemetery in Gillsville. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Tuesday October 5, 2021 at the funeral home.
