Wilma Nell Garmon

Mrs. Wilma Nell Garmon, 75, of Oakwood, passed away Sunday, October 3, 2021 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center Gainesville Campus. 

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 5, 2021 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Rev. Phil Carpenter will officiate. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Monday, October 4, 2021 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Born on August 8, 1946 in Oakwood, she was the daughter of the late Leonard Wilbanks and the late Slonie Bell Willis Wilbanks. She was a homemaker and a member of New Haven Congregational Holiness Church.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Garmon is preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Garmon.

Mrs. Garmon is survived by her daughters, Kelly Franklin of Oakwood, Lisa Wilson (Brian) of Flowery Branch; brothers, James Wilbanks of Flowery Branch. Walter Wilbanks of Flowery Branch; sister, Freida Thomas of Gainesville; grandchildren, Krystal Garrett (Jason), Dylan Stowe (Kalynn), Josh Everetts, Madison Dunagan, Sydney Segars (Zach), Sawyer Wilson (Brittany); great grandchildren, Kaydence, Kenzie, Leeah, River, Tucker, Griffin, Jack, Redding, Camp and a number of other loving relatives.
